Barbara has spent the last 30 years working to improve the lives of women. She is the author of five books for women and teenage girls and travels worldwide speaking at Relief Society and Young Women Conferences. She has been a CES speaker for over 20 years with programs such as Especially for Youth and Education Week. She has been a devotional speaker at BYU-Hawaii where she is a member of the President’s Leadership Council. Barbara’s first career was that of a professional classical ballerina. Her background was then in fashion merchandising as the administrator of two Barbizon Schools of fashion. She was also an international image consultant and fashion designer. She is currently the CEO of the HBJ Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals of all ages throughout the world.

Professional motivational speaker and author. He is an
expert in empowering others to live to their fullest
potential with the knowledge that, “I can do all things
through Christ which strengthened me.” (Phillippians
4:14) As a 13-year faculty member of Especially for Women, and
representing the program in women’s conferences in
various parts of the world, his classes have been
instrumental in changing the lives of many women. |

Shauna Ockey is a motivational speaker, a professional
model, registered nurse, and a 11-year faculty member of
the Especially for Women program. She has taught classes
to women and teenage girls on poise and grooming. As
the Stake Director of Public Affairs in Calgary Canada, her
endeavors unceasingly elevate the self-confidence of every
woman. She is the epitome of refinement, graciousness
and spirituality. She is a member of the BYU Hawaii’s
President's Leadership Committee.

Cindy Wakefield has been a professional image consultant
and speaker for over 25 years. She has conducted schools
for teenage girls to raise their self-image, and has
presented seminars to women. As a former Relief Society
President, a l3-year faculty member of Especially for Women, and in
her current full time service mission at BYU, she is
dedicated to teaching women and girls to look and feel
better about themselves. She is a member of the BYU
Hawaii’s President's Leadership Committee.

"Dr. Mike" holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, is a licensed clinical social worker. He has worked with
LDS Social Services, created and maintains a group
psychotherapy practice, and teaches at California State
University Fresno. Countless women have changed
their lives for the better and drawn closer to their
Savior through his gentle teachings and great wisdom. |

Karen Eckel has served the women (both young and older) of the church for over 15 years. She has taught many classes on various topics that impact women in general. As a business owner for over 16 years, wife and mother of 3 children, and an active member of the church, Karen has had to do a lot of balancing in her life. She believes in and lives the idea of “moderation in all things” when it comes to all aspects of her life. This is important in order to have harmony and balance when it comes to your spiritual, mental and physical self. Karen currently serves as the Stake Relief Society President. |

Kris Denison holds a degree in Fashion Merchandising and conducts seminars for businesses, schools, and churches. She has been a Faculty member of the Especially for Women Program for 5 years. During her 20 years of serving in the Young Women program, she has helped many teenage girls and women refine and improve their appearance and grow closer to God and Christ. |

Bonnie graduated with a BS degree in Education from Weber State University and taught Physical Education and Business Education on the high school level in Utah. She is currently serving as PTA President for a Junior High School and is the Co-Director for the State of Utah’s America’s Junior Miss Program. She is on the Executive Committee of Weber/Davis Boys and Girls Club. Bonnie is also a member of the faculty for BYU-H Student Mentoring Program and for Be The Best You Camp for teenage girls.

She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a degree in Elementary Education; MA from University of Northern Colorado, Administrative Certificate from Colorado State University and was recently presented with an honorary doctorate. She was a teacher for 23 years and a principal for 10 years. She is most well know for her as First Counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency and has traveled the world in this capacity and currently as a sought-after speaker. Among her many books are "Lighten Up," "Aloha," Being Enough," and "Stars". |

Brad is a professor of Teacher Education at Brigham Young University Provo. He has written and contributed to countless books and CDs for LDS teens. His most recent book is co-authored with his son, “Raising Ourselves to the Bar.” He has served as a director and much-loved speaker for EFY and Church youth conferences for 20 years. He served as Mission President of Chile Santiago East Mission.

Kenneth is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and music producer. He has produced ten of his own albums as well as projects for other artists. Over the years, he has also produced four of the Especially for Youth (EFY) albums while additionally writing for and performing on many others. Currently Kenneth is creating a musical for the stage about the life of Christ, titled Son of Man.

Jessie has released three of her own CD’s entitled “Clay in His Hands” and “Better Than I,” and the recently acclaimed “Everything Speaks His Name.” She will also be releasing a Broadway Album in 2009 and has toured 36 states with the Broadway musical “Footloose.” She was the winner of the 2004 “Best of State” award for “Best Female Vocalist.” Jessie has also published her first children’s book entitled “The Station.” In addition, she has been a guest artist for Be The Best You Camp for teen girls. |
